Gwenaël Doërr

Principal Software Architect at Synamedia

Gwenaël Doërr has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Gwenaël is currently serving as the Principal Software Architect at Synamedia, where they focus on championing innovative solutions such as watermarking at the edge. Gwenaël also represents Synamedia in industry consortiums and generates and defends intellectual property.

Prior to their current role, Gwenaël was the CTO and Co-Founder of ContentArmor from 2016 to 2021. At Technicolor, they held the position of Principal Scientist from 2014 to 2016 and Research Engineer from 2010 to 2014. Gwenaël also worked as a Lecturer on Digital Rights Management at University College London from 2005 to 2009.

Gwenaël's earlier experiences include being a Visiting Scholar at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories in 2008, a Ph.D. student and Teaching Assistant at Eurecom Institute from 2001 to 2005, and a Summer Intern at NEC Research Institute in 2001.

Gwenaël Doërr completed their education as follows:

- In 2001, they earned a Master of Research degree in Image Processing from Universite Nice Sophia-Antipolis.

- From 1995 to 2000, they acquired an Engineering Diploma in Telecommunications from Telecom INT.

- In 1995 to 1998, they attended Louis Le Grand and completed a French engineering prep school program with a focus on Mathematics.

- From 1992 to 1995, they obtained a Baccalauréat from Lycee Saint Francois de Salles.

- Between 1983 and 1992, they attended College Immaculée de Navarre.
