Dr. Philipp Schäfers

Dr. Philipp Schäfers has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Dr. Philipp started their career in 2009 as the Head of the Rowing Department at Karlsruhe University Sports, where they served until 2011. In 2012, they gained further experience through an internship at the Office of the Managing Director for Production at TRUMPF.

In 2013, Dr. Schäfers became a Junior Consultant at Lufthansa Technik AG, contributing their skills and knowledge in the field. Dr. Philipp then joined IFA - Institut für Fabrikanlagen und Logistik in 2014, working as a Research Associate and Consultant until 2019. During this period, they acquired extensive expertise in the field, contributing to various projects.

In 2019, Dr. Schäfers joined SYNAOS as a Business and Logistics Consultant, playing a pivotal role in the company's operations and projects. In February 2022, they transitioned to the role of Chief of Staff, where they are currently involved in leading and managing the organization.

Dr. Philipp Schäfers has a strong educational background in mechanical engineering and business administration. Dr. Philipp obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in 2013. Dr. Philipp later pursued further studies at the Leibniz Universität Hannover, where they obtained a Doktor-Ingenieur degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2019.

In addition to their academic achievements, Dr. Schäfers also holds certifications in project management and Six Sigma. Dr. Philipp is a Certified Project Management Associate IPMA Level D from GPM Deutsche Gesellschaft für Projektmanagement e. V., and a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from the Six Sigma College Düsseldorf (SSCD).
