Frank Amato

Frank Amato has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Frank is currently serving as a Board Independent Director at EnClear Therapies since June 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of President and CEO at SYNAPS Dx, starting in March 2020. Frank also served as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Commercial Officer at electroCore, Inc. from July 2012 to September 2019.

Before their role at electroCore, Inc., Frank Amato worked at Merck as the Vice President of Specialty Commercial Operations Group from 2009 to 2012. Frank also held the position of Executive Director of Global Business Operations from February 2006 to October 2009 at Merck.

In addition, Frank Amato has experience working at Ligand Pharmaceuticals as the National Sales Director in 2005 and at Pfizer as the National Sales Director - Oncology Accounts in 2004.

Their career in the pharmaceutical industry began in 1990 at Pharmacia & Upjohn, Inc., where they served as the Regional Sales Director for the Hospital segment until 2003.

Frank Amato earned their BA in Political Science from St. John's University, where they attended from 1987 to 1990. Frank later pursued an Executive MBA specializing in Business at the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, completing their studies from 2004 to 2005.
