Marco Rizk

Marco Rizk began their work experience in 2015 as an intern at Khalda Petroleum Company (Apache). In 2016, they served as a Marketing Manager and later as a Project Manager at Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Drilling Engineer at Technova Petroleum Services. In 2019, they joined Synapse Analytics as an A.I & Machine Learning Engineer. Marco also served as a Software Development Team Lead at Surv, where they were responsible for product suite architecture and managing integration between teams. In 2021, Marco became an AI-Pro Instructor at the Information Technology Institute (ITI).

Marco Rizk's education history begins with their completion of a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering at Suez University, which they attended from 2012 to 2016. Marco then pursued a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering at Cairo University from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Marco has obtained various certifications, including a Data Analyst Nanodegree from Udacity. Marco also completed online courses such as "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" through Coursera. Furthermore, Marco obtained certifications in topics such as entrepreneurship, digital literacy, visual communication using Adobe Photoshop, and reservoir geomechanics. Marco also received training in BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) and IWCF (International Well Control Forum) at supervisor level. Marco's additional certifications also include being an AI Instructor from EPITA: Ecole d'Ingénieurs en Informatique and MTA (Microsoft Technology Associate) certification in Database Fundamentals.
