Mostafa Elmenbawy

Mostafa Elmenbawy began their work experience in 2018 as a Web Development Intern at Pharos Solutions, where they developed a web app for booking bus tickets using Ruby on Rails and jQuery. Mostafa also optimized trips queries by creating a B-Tree index on foreign keys and columns used in the WHERE clause.

In 2019, Mostafa joined Synapse Analytics as a Software Engineer. In this role, they developed and tested a large-scale Computer Vision API for detecting and tracking people. Mostafa also provisioned Linux servers using Ansible and managed deployments using Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.

Mostafa Elmenbawy completed their education at two different institutions. From 2011 to 2014, they attended the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, where they obtained an IGCSE degree. Later, from 2014 to 2019, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at The German University in Cairo.

In addition to their formal education, Mostafa Elmenbawy has obtained two certifications. In July 2021, they received an Incident Responder Certification from PagerDuty, and in November 2021, they obtained the KCNA: Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate certification from The Linux Foundation.
