Angela Zeng is an Associate at Synapse Energy Economics since August 2023, previously serving as an Energy Justice Intern at the same company from May 2022 to February 2023. Angela's academic background includes a Master of Environmental Management in Environmental Economics and Policy from Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Sustainability Sciences from Cornell University. Prior roles include Graduate Research Assistant at Duke University, where Angela analyzed the impact of drought on methane emissions in coastal wetlands, and Energy and Economic Analyst at Cornell University, where a lifetime economic analysis of a cooling facility was conducted. Additionally, Angela has experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Cornell, focusing on drinking water treatment costs and the economic value of ecosystem services provided by birds.
