The team secured dozens of foundational patents and created new sources of revenue. Successes included creating the Intuit Commerce Graph that integrated diverse financial data from across Intuit's products to create a database that captured 20% of all financial transactions in the US economy. The team also conceived and prototyped powerful applications of the Intuit Commerce Graph, including a new financial product that streamlined loans to small businesses. Other successes included applying novel data sources and innovative predictive modeling techniques to deliver highly relevant cross-sell and 3rd party offers within Intuit's products, and to dramatically increasing the accuracy of transaction classification in Intuit's consumer finance products.

George Roumeliotis holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Alabama. George also holds a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honors in Applied Mathematics from the University of Sydney.
