Lina Cowen

Lina Cowen is a Mechanical Engineering Tech Lead at Synapse Product Development, where responsibilities include overseeing various projects related to consumer electronics, personal care devices, agricultural technology, and connected venue systems from concept development to high volume manufacturing since July 2016. Prior experience includes roles as a Mechanical Engineering Co-op at Basis, an Intel company, focusing on designing and developing wearable devices, and Fikst, where involvement in research and development led to hands-on experience in prototyping. Additionally, Lina contributed to medical device design and prototyping as a Research and Development Co-op at Boston Scientific. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and a brief academic experience at Swinburne University of Technology. Lina also served as a Teaching Assistant during the academic tenure, providing support in engineering mechanics and design.
