Elena Davis

Elena Davis is an Optical Developer at Synaptive Medical, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this, Elena worked as a Research Intern at Ryerson University, contributing to the development of a new cancer therapy using radioactive nanoparticles and creating a benchmark model for gamma ray interactions with gold nanoparticles using TOPAS MC. Elena also gained experience as an Engineering Co-op at Synaptive Medical from September 2021 to September 2022. Earlier roles included serving as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor for the City of Mississauga from September 2017 to September 2019, and as a Server at Port Credit Yacht Club during the summer of 2019. Elena holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Ryerson University, obtained in April 2023.
