Leonard Ong

Leonard Ong is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in governance, risk management, and information security. Currently serving as the Director of Sector Governance at Synapxe since 2023, Leonard leads key initiatives within the public healthcare sector. Previous roles include Senior Director and Regional Information Security Officer for GE Healthcare in Intercontinental & China (2020-2023), Group Chief Information Security Officer at Fullerton Health (2019-2020), and Governance, Risk Management and Compliance Leader for MSD in Asia Pacific & Japan (2015-2019). Leonard has held significant positions on various boards, including Director at ISACA and Honorary Chairman of ASIS International's Singapore Chapter. Leonard also has a background in cybersecurity practice as an Associate Partner at Citihub and extensive leadership experience reflected in a Master's degree in Computing from the National University of Singapore.
