Nick Bonfiglio

CEO & Co-Founder at Syncari

Nick Bonfiglio is the CEO and Co-Founder of Syncari. Nick has over 20 years of experience in executive leadership positions in the software industry.

Nick started their career as a VP of Engineering and Operations at Portera Systems. Nick then moved on to Ciena where they were VP of Engineering and PM. In 2001, they became CEO/Founder and Author at Aptrinsic. In 2003, they became VP of Engineering, Operations and Product, Lab Management at CollabNet. And finally in 2009, they became EVP, Global Product at Marketo.

At Marketo, Bonfiglio was responsible for all engineering, operations, product management, and support. Nick focused on building the next-gen platform and reimagining user interfaces for the future. Nick was also responsible for the security and privacy aspects of the production environments and development practices.

Bonfiglio grew Marketo's operations to support 6000+ customer subscriptions, established data centers, and key automation that saved the business 10 gross margin points. This aided in their IPO and growth as a public SaaS company.

In 2016, Bonfiglio left Marketo to become CEO/Founder at Aptrinsic once again. Nick held this position until 2019 when they co-founded Syncari.

Nick Bonfiglio has a MBA from The California State University.
