Alberto Borgnino, PE has over 25 years of work experience. Alberto is currently working at SynchroGrid as a Principal Engineer, where they collaborate with the engineering team to meet project specifications, acquire new customers and business opportunities in Europe, and align SynchroGrid's services to secure work streams. Prior to SynchroGrid, Alberto worked as a Principal Software Engineer at SynchroGrid, where they developed algorithms and computation techniques for power system protection. Alberto also worked at CESI SpA as a Protection Engineer/Programmer and Project Manager, where they conducted Proof Of Concept for innovative projects. Alberto has also worked as a Consultant at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) and held various roles at DIgSILENT GmbH, Cooper Power Systems, Intercai Mondiale Ltd, Microelettrica Scientifica spa, and Marina Militare Italiana. Their responsibilities in these roles included software development, relay model algorithms implementation, overcurrent setting calculation, team leadership, and navy officer duties.
Alberto Borgnino, PE obtained a Master degree in Electric Power Engineering (110/110) from Università degli Studi di Genova. Alberto attended the university from 1987 to 1993.
