Ishan Khatri

Ishan Khatri has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Ishan started their career as a Quality and Test Engineer for Power and Distribution Transformers at Patel Electricals, where they led a team and managed inventory. Ishan then served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Energy and Environment Sustainability, conducting research on energy sources and air quality forecasting. Ishan also worked as a Tutor at the Department of Naval Science, providing assistance in various math subjects. Ishan further gained experience as a Graduate Assistant, participating in research projects related to smart meter power forecasting and serving as a general assistant. Additionally, Ishan interned as an Electrical Design Intern at POWER SERVICE INC., where they assisted in building electrical and control drawings. Recently, they joined SynchroGrid as a Relay Setting Engineer 3, responsible for reviewing and quality controlling relay setting projects. Throughout their career, Ishan has demonstrated a strong background in electrical engineering and research, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ishan Khatri has a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, which they obtained from L.D. College of Engineering from 2008 to 2012. Ishan then pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Prairie View A&M University, completing it from 2015 to 2019. In terms of their high school education, Ishan attended Jeevan Sadhana from 2006 to 2008, where they focused on the sciences.

Continuing their education, Ishan is currently pursuing a Doctor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at Prairie View A&M University, starting in 2020. Apart from their degrees, Ishan has also obtained several certifications. In 2019, they completed the IEC 61850 Training and Workshop at Triangle MicroWorks, Inc. In 2017, they obtained the certification for "Big Data Application in Smart Grids: Benefits and Challenges" from IEEE. In 2013, Ishan acquired the Electrical Supervisor License from the Government of Gujarat (GoG). Lastly, in 2012, they completed the "Power Searching with Google" certification provided by Google.
