Omid Forouzan

Omid Forouzan is an experienced clinical leader currently serving as the Vice President of Clinical at Synchron since February 2025. Prior to this role, Forouzan held the position of Vice President of Clinical at Edwards Lifesciences, where responsibilities included leading the early execution of the PRO2 trial and shaping clinical strategy for the Cordella System launch following the acquisition of Endotronix. With extensive experience at Endotronix, Forouzan successfully executed the pivotal PROACTIVE-HF trial while overseeing clinical activities across multiple sites. Previous roles also include Sr. Director Clinical Development and Senior Manager of Medical Engineering, where Forouzan drove product development, secured significant funding, and established rigorous clinical trial operations. Forouzan holds a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an MSc from Tulane University, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic.
