Derek Fields

Derek Fields has a diverse work experience, spanning various industries and roles. Derek is currently working as a Sales Specialist for Amazon Connect and AWS EUC at SoftwareONE since January 2023. Before that, they worked at SynchroNet as an Area Director of Sales for the NorthEast region starting from August 2020. Prior to that, they were an Account Executive at ClearScale from November 2019 to June 2020. In addition, they also worked as a Territory Manager for New York at Flux7 Inc. from January 2019 to November 2019. Before transitioning into the technology sector, Derek was an Enterprise Account Executive at Softchoice from January 2014 to January 2019. Derek started their career in finance as a Private Client Mortgage Banker at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from January 2010 to January 2014. Prior to that, they worked as a Mortgage Consultant at Quality Financial Solutions from July 2007 to January 2010. Derek started their professional journey as a Sales Executive at Yuasa Exide from 1994 to 1998 and later founded their own company, Cellular Telephone Communications, where they served as the CEO until 2006.

Derek Fields holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business-Economics from SUNY Oneonta. In February 2019, they obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
