Girish Satya has over 20 years of work experience in technical support and software engineering roles. Girish started their career at Digital Equipment Corporation as a Software Engineer in 1997. Girish then joined Mphasis as a Senior Software Engineer in 1999. After that, they worked at Mirapoint Inc as a Technical Support Specialist from 2004 to 2011. In 2011, they joined Microsoft as a Team Lead until 2013. From 2013 onwards, Girish Satya has been working at Synchronoss Technologies, first as a Manager in Technical Support and currently as the Director of Customer Support - Messaging.

Girish Satya holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering from San Jose State University, which was obtained from 2006 to 2008. Girish also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from PES College of Engg. Mysore between 1991 and 1995. Additionally, they completed their 10th grade education at St. Joseph's Boys' high school from 1980 to 1989.
