Chad Stiening

Chad Stiening is an accomplished leader in the life sciences and healthcare sectors, currently serving as CEO of Kypha since July 2010, where the company focuses on innovative diagnostics and immune disorder management solutions. Additionally, Chad co-founded and is the Managing Director of Synchrony Bio and has been the Founder and Managing Partner of Common Place Holdings since January 2013, which specializes in seed-stage investments for life sciences and emerging tech start-ups. Prior experience includes roles as Executive Director for New Business Development at Nucleus and Chief of Translational Research Advancement at the Cardiovascular Innovation Institute. Chad holds a Post-Doc in Biomedical Engineering and a PhD in Animal Science (Molecular Genetics) from the University of Arizona, as well as dual degrees in Biology and Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
