Tobin Sharp

Senior Vice President and Business Unit Lead at Synchrony Communications

Tobin Sharp has had extensive experience in the medical communications field. Tobin began their career in 1997 as a Scheduling Reporter at TV Guide Magazine. In 2000, they moved to Boucher Communications as an Assistant Editor, where they developed, researched, assigned, edited, and wrote articles on a wide range of topics. In 2001, they became an Associate Editor at Great Valley Publishing, where they wrote articles on new treatments, hot trends, and technological advancements in radiology. In 2002, they became a Senior Development Editor at Current Science, where they edited and managed all copy and editorial content for three peer-reviewed medical journals and the company's website. In 2004, they were appointed Editorial Director at Advanced Studies in Medicine (ASiM), where they were the manager and primary contact for the Boehringer Ingelheim SPIRIVA project. In 2009, they moved to MJH & Associates as Group Editorial Director, where they held responsibility for managing all phases of publishing two top-tier, peer-reviewed medical journals. Finally, in 2013, they became Senior Vice President and Business Unit Lead at Synchrony Medical Communications.

Tobin Sharp attended Millersville University of Pennsylvania from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Tobin also attended the United States Army Reserves from 1989 to 1995, where they received a Certificate in Communications/Network Facilities.
