Andrea Resta

Scientist at SYNCHROTRON SOLEIL

Andrea Resta started their work experience in 2008 as a Post. Doc. Researcher at the ESRF - European Radiation Synchrotron Facility. They held this position until January 2011. In September 2011, Andrea joined CNRS as a Young Researcher and worked there until October 2013. Since November 2013, Andrea has been working at Synchrotron SOLEIL as a Scientist, where their responsibilities include instrument development, maintenance, support for visiting scientists, and personal research in surface science.

Andrea Resta pursued higher education starting with a Master's degree in Materials Science from Università degli Studi di Milano, a journey that spanned from 1997 to 2003. Building upon this foundation, Andrea then went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from Lund University, dedicating the years from 2003 to 2008 to this pursuit.
