Ben Woolven

Ben Woolven is currently the Launch Lead at Yellowstone Biosciences, overseeing the operational build of the company to transform scientific plans into a functional biotech entity. Ben also serves as a Business Strategy and Operations Partner at Syncona Limited, where responsibilities include designing and implementing the launch process for new portfolio companies and supporting existing ones in achieving operational excellence. Previous experience includes roles at Resolution Therapeutics, where Ben collaborated with the CEO on R&D pipeline execution, and a significant tenure at GSK, culminating as Senior Director of Medical, Regulatory and Quality, overseeing strategy development and operational leadership across multiple functions. Ben's career began with a CASE PhD at Unilever, followed by strategic roles at L.E.K. Consulting and Head of External Collaborations at Domantis. Academic qualifications include a BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in Immunology from the University of Kent.
