Raquel Fernández-Montes

Raquel Fernández-Montes has a diverse work experience in the field of product management and banking. Raquel is currently working as a Product Lead at Synctera since 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Sr. Product Manager - Payments and Ledger at Synctera from June 2021 to November 2023.

Before joining Synctera, Raquel worked at ATB Financial starting in 2015. Raquel held various roles such as Director of Product at Brightside by ATB from September 2020 to June 2021, Senior Product Manager at Brightside by ATB from April 2018 to August 2020, Senior Product Manager at ATB Financial - Small Business Lending from August 2017 to March 2018, and Core Banking Platform - Solutions Architect at ATB Financial from August 2015 to July 2017.

In the early stages of their career, Raquel worked at Axxiome Group starting in 2011. Raquel served as the SAP Core Banking Platform - Functional Team Lead from May 2014 to July 2015, and as the SAP Core Banking Platform - Deposits Consultant from April 2011 to April 2014.

Raquel Fernández-Montes obtained their degree in Product Management from Product School in 2020. Raquel also holds additional certifications including Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2018, and Business Foundations and Product Management certifications from UBC Sauder School of Business and Pragmatic Marketing respectively, both obtained in 2017.
