Angela Smith

Angela Smith has extensive work experience in the medical field. Angela is currently serving as the Senior Medical Director at Syndax Pharmaceuticals since April 2023. Previously, they worked as a Medical Director at Astellas Gene Therapies from April 2021 to April 2023. Angela also held academic positions at the University of Minnesota, where they were an Associate Professor from July 2017 to April 2021 and an Assistant Professor from July 2008 to July 2017.

Angela Smith has a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from the University of Minnesota Duluth, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. Angela then pursued their Doctor of Medicine - MD degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin from 1998 to 2002. Later, from 2006 to 2008, they attended the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, completing a Master's degree in Clinical Research.
