Michelle Busa

Michelle Busa has over 30 years of experience in clinical data management. Michelle most recently served as the Executive Director of Clinical Data Management at Syndax Pharmaceuticals, starting in November 2023. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of Clinical Data Management at Surface Oncology Inc. from October 2021 to September 2023. Michelle also worked as a Principal Professional at BioBridges in clinical data management from June 2016 to October 2021. Michelle held the role of Director of Data Management at INC Research from July 2014 to April 2016 and worked as a Principal at Curo Clinical Data Management from January 2010 to July 2014. Before that, Michelle gained experience as a CDM Consultant at Covidien from June 2010 to January 2011 and as a Consultant for CDISC Implementation from December 2009 to May 2010. Michelle served as the Director of Clinical Data Management at SDC from 2008 to 2009, and at BattelleCRO from 2004 to 2008. Michelle started their career as an Associate Director of Clinical Data Management at Abt Associates from 2001 to 2004 and as a Clinical Data Manager/Project Manager at Parexel from 1993 to 1998.

Michelle Busa completed their Bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology/Business from Springfield College in 1987. Michelle later pursued a Masters degree in Information Technology from Southern New Hampshire University, completing it between 2004 and 2006.
