Shane O'Connell

Shane O'Connell has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Shane started their career as a Full-Time Law Clerk in the Office of the General Counsel at the Port Authority of NY & NJ in 2011. Shane then worked as a Summer Associate at Schiff Hardin LLP in 2012. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an Associate at Schiff Hardin LLP in commercial litigation, representing major corporations in various industries. Shane then moved to Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, where they worked as a Litigation Counsel from 2016 to 2020, focusing on pharmaceutical and medical device cases. In 2020, they joined Bristol Myers Squibb as Counsel in oncology development and commercialization, and later became the Senior Counsel for cell therapy commercialization and development. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director - Corporate Counsel - Commercialization and Development at Syndax Pharmaceuticals since 2023.

Shane O'Connell earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from DePauw University in 2006. Later, they pursued their Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Seton Hall University School of Law, graduating in 2013.
