Brian Roberts

Brian Roberts is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate counsel roles across various pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Currently serving as Executive Director and Head of Contracts and Research and Development Counsel at Ultragenyx since April 2020, Brian Roberts manages a team of six direct reports and oversees all international and domestic contracts. Prior experience includes roles at Jazz Pharmaceuticals and Gilead Sciences, where responsibilities encompassed managing clinical trial agreements and supporting global contracts. Brian Roberts also held managerial positions at Resource Solutions Group, Genentech, and Responsys, along with legal practice experience at Branson, Brinkop, Griffith & Strong, LLP. Brian Roberts holds a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law and an LLM in Taxation from Golden Gate University, alongside a BA in Political Science from UCLA.
