Guru Sundararaman

Guru Sundararaman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Guru is currently serving as the Managing Director, CTO, and CISO at both Syndesis Health and Agorai. In these positions, they focus on improving health outcomes through the use of de-identified health data and helping companies monetize their valuable data assets and AI applications.

Guru has also served as a Board Member and Advisor at Sproutlogix and OpenRisk Technologies. At Sproutlogix, they provide guidance and strategic advice, while at OpenRisk Technologies, they contribute to the development of innovative fintech solutions for the financial services and legal industries.

Before their current roles, Guru held leadership positions at Sapient and Goldman Sachs, where they served as a Vice President. At Sapient, they were responsible for business, technology, and digital transformation consulting for financial services and e-commerce clients. At Goldman Sachs, they worked in investment banking, research, and market data applications, with a focus on internet and web strategy, architecture, and solutions.

Guru also gained extensive experience at Deutsche Bank/Bankers Trust, where they served as a Director, focusing on internet, security, and web strategy, as well as advisory roles in tech for M&A transactions and venture capital/private equity investments.

Guru'searly career includes consulting work at AT&T Bell Labs as a Consultant from 1988 to 1992.

Guru Sundararaman began their education at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Sr. Sec. School from 1976 to 1982. Guru then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, completing their degree from 1982 to 1987. Simultaneously, from 1982 to 1984, they also studied at New York University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science. Later on, Guru Sundararaman pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology, although the specific years of their enrollment are not provided. In 2019, they obtained a certification in "AI for Everyone" from Coursera.
