Jaz Guram

Jaz Guram has extensive experience in recruitment and talent acquisition. They started their career as an Assistant Language Teacher at RCS Corporation in 2005. In 2008, they worked as a Corporate Trainer in communications at Honda R&D Co., Ltd. and later as a Corporate Training Consultant at ALC Press, Inc. From 2011 to 2014, Jaz was a Technical Recruiter at Dragan Consulting Inc and later joined GuruLink as a Technical Recruiter/Account Manager, overseeing talent placement and client prospecting. In 2012, Jaz also served as a Talent Acquisition Partner for Wave HQ, supervising the recruitment process. Jaz then joined Syndesus, LLC in 2014 as a Recruitment Lead, where they played a key role in making placements and sourcing candidates for SW Engineering teams. In 2014, Jaz founded We Recruit and worked as a Founder & Consultant until 2017. Their most recent position is the Recruitment Lead at Syndesus, Inc. since 2021, where they lead the recruitment function for the company's Global Recruitment Service and domestic tech hiring program.

Jaz Guram holds a BA (Hons) degree in Information Management and Politics from Queen's University Belfast. Additionally, they have a Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from George Brown College.
