Sam Azimi

Sam Azimi has extensive experience in the water treatment and sanitation sector, currently serving as the Directeur Exploitation et Performance Epuratoire at SIAAP since January 2006, overseeing the Seine-Aval purification plant. Previously held roles at SIAAP include Deputy Director of Innovation, where responsibilities involved aligning R&D with operational needs and regulatory demands, and Head of General Studies, providing technical support for wastewater treatment plants. Earlier experience includes technical responsibilities at Eurofins and academic roles as a researcher and lecturer at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. Sam Azimi holds a Doctorate in Environmental Sciences and Techniques and a DEA in Water Management and Urban Hydrology from the same institution, along with a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Université Paris XII.
