Laura Creekmore

Laura Creekmore has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 27 years. Laura currently holds the position of Vice President of Data Operations at Syndigo, where they oversee the efficient transfer of information in the commerce ecosystem. Prior to this role, Laura served as the Vice President of Content Operations at Syndigo, focusing on data quality and capturing on-pack content for grocery and CPG products. Before joining Syndigo, Laura was the Director of Taxonomy and Content Strategy at the same company. Additionally, Laura has served as an Adjunct Professor at Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management. Earlier in their career, they were the President and Content Strategist at Creek Content, specializing in content strategy and information architecture. Laura also worked as the Director of Digital Media at Hammock Inc., a custom-publishing firm, where they helped clients build web communities. Laura co-created SmallBusiness.com and began their career as the Communications Coordinator at the Tennessee Society of CPAs.

Laura Creekmore obtained a B.A. in European History from Vanderbilt University between 1989 and 1993. Laura later earned an MSIS (Master of Science in Information Sciences) degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, completing their studies between 2011 and 2017. Additionally, Laura has obtained several certifications, including WSET Level 1 from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in 2023, and various certifications related to digital listing content, GS1 standards, and identification from GS1 US between 2019 and 2020.
