Alan Zhao

Alan Zhao has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance sector. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at US Airways (now American Airlines). Following this, they joined Quest Diagnostics in 2013 as a Manager in Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), and later transitioned to the role of Senior Finance Manager in the Hospital Business division. During their time at Quest Diagnostics, Alan was responsible for finance and accounting in an $800 million business, and successfully implemented a new reporting tool to improve performance analysis.

In 2017, Alan joined Synedgen, Inc as a Senior Finance Manager in MedImmune R&D. In this role, they played a key role in enhancing R&D planning and resource allocation through the implementation of new valuation models. Alan also redesigned financial processes, resulting in increased forecast accuracy and accelerated monthly close processes. Alan later advanced to the position of Associate Finance Director and, most recently, Finance Director of Biologics R&D at Synedgen, Inc.

Alan Zhao has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a focus on Finance and Accounting, from Nanjing University. Alan also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
