Shawn Givens

Shawn Givens has extensive experience in project management and therapeutic strategy within the pharmaceutical and clinical research industries. Currently serving as Senior Director of Therapeutic Strategy and Innovation at Syneos Health since April 2021, Shawn previously held the role of Senior Director Project Management in General Medicine. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Project Management at PPD, focusing on General Medicine with an emphasis on Rheumatology and Immunology. Shawn's career also includes positions at PAREXEL as Portfolio Director and Project Director, and at INC Research as Senior Director of Project Management, specializing in Inflammation & Immunology, Women's Health, and Ophthalmology. Early career roles include various positions at Abbott Laboratories and Kendle International Inc, as well as a Clinical Study Coordinator at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Shawn holds a B.S. in Clinical Laboratory Sciences from Iowa State University.
