Abigail Brunner McLeod, PhD, RAC

Abigail Brunner McLeod, PhD, RAC has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Abigail currently works as the Manager of Medical Writing at Syner-G BioPharma Group since May 2017. Prior to that, they held the same position at Impact Pharmaceutical Services, Inc (now Syner-G BioPharma Group) starting from October 2020. Abigail also worked as a Clinical Research Scientist at Syner-G BioPharma Group from May 2017 until October 2020.

Before joining Syner-G BioPharma Group, Abigail worked at Duke Cancer Institute as a Regulatory Coordinator in the GI Oncology department from June 2015 to April 2017.

Abigail's career began at Duke University Medical Center in 2008, where they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher from September 2008 to May 2015. During their time at Duke, they also interned as a Regulatory Affairs Intern at Duke Translational Medicine Institute from October to December 2014.

Prior to their time at Duke University, Abigail gained research experience as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the College of William and Mary from 2006 to 2008. Abigail also worked as a Summer Research Assistant at the University of New Hampshire in 2006 and 2005.

Overall, Abigail has a strong background in medical writing, clinical research, regulatory affairs, and research coordination in the pharmaceutical and academic sectors.

Abigail Brunner McLeod, PhD, RAC attended William & Mary from 2004 to 2008 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology. Abigail then pursued further education at Duke University from 2008 to 2015, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Pharmacology.
