Teri Schmidt

Teri Schmidt has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies. Teri currently serves as the Vice President of Consulting/Business Development at SYNERGEN Health LLC. Prior to this, they held the role of VP Business Development - Patient Access Services at Change Healthcare from October 2018 to March 2019. Teri also worked at MedSynergies from July 2012 to September 2018, where they served as VP Consulting, Solutions Design, responsible for driving new business and building client relationships. Before that, they worked as the Director of West at AAPC Physician Services from January 2011 to July 2012. From April 2000 to December 2009, Teri worked as a Health Care Consultant & Speaker at Karen Zupko & Associates, where they served as a national speaker and performed operational assessments for health systems and physician practices. Teri's earliest work experience was at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where they served as Administrator/Director of Business Operations from January 1990 to April 2000, managing administrative and business functions, RCM operations, and budgeting.

Teri Schmidt received a BBA in Finance from Texas Wesleyan University. Teri also obtained an MBA in Health care administration from The University of Dallas in 2000.
