Bryce Newton is a Senior OT Engineer at Synergy, starting in December 2022 and focused on establishing Operational Technology as a central function, developing team capabilities, and supporting the Ignition SCADA application. Prior to this role, Bryce served as an Electrical Engineer at Synergy from October 2020 to September 2022, contributing to SCADA upgrades for a gas turbine fleet to enhance energy market readiness. Earlier experience includes working as a Graduate Control Engineer at Balance Services Group from November 2016 to July 2019, where notable achievements involved improving the reliability of the Perenjori BESS and participating in a research project with White Gum Valley. Bryce began the engineering career as an Intern Engineer, focusing on control and monitoring projects for renewable energy systems, including HMI design for the Perenjori Energy Storage System. Bryce holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Curtin University, obtained between 2013 and 2016.
