Megan Ong

Megan Ong is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in reporting and accounting roles. Currently serving as a Principal Reporting Analyst at Synergy since February 2019, Megan is responsible for preparing the monthly board report and comprehensive year-end management analysis for the Group, along with coaching junior team members. Previously, as a Senior Corporate Accountant at Synergy, Megan was involved in monthly results delivery and year-end audit processes. Prior roles include Financial Accountant positions at Woodside Energy and Peet Limited, where Megan focused on month-end results, technical accounting guidance, and compliance with financial reporting standards. Beginning their career at EY as a Senior Accountant in Audit Services, Megan specialized in financial reporting for oil, gas, and property sectors. Megan holds a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Curtin University.
