Emma Pilbeam

Emma Pilbeam is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the defence and government sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member at Bravery Trust, a Member of the Defence Industry Tri-Partite Council, and a Partner at Synergy Group, Emma also holds the position of President at the Australian Industry & Defence Network (AIDN) - ACT. Previous roles include General Manager for Growth & Development and General Manager of Defence & Government Programs at Downer Professional Services, along with Senior Director of Defence Capability at Downer. Emma's earlier experience includes management positions at KPMG Australia and the Australian Defence Test & Evaluation Office, among others. Emma holds a Master's degree in Capability & Technology Management from the University of New South Wales and possesses a strong educational background in Military Strategic Studies and Asia-Pacific Security from The Australian National University.
