Brian Larin

Brian Larin serves as the Assistant Principal and Dean of School Culture at Synergy Academies since August 2015, focusing on culturally relevant pedagogy to enhance relationships within the educational environment. Previously, Brian held roles as an Instructional Coach for new teachers at Teach For America during the summer of 2018 and May 2019, emphasizing relationship-building and providing support. Brian also contributed as a Science Teacher at ICEF Public Schools from August 2014 to June 2015 and worked as a Nurse Technician at Animal Medical Center from January 2008 to 2011. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Administration Credentials from California State University, Los Angeles, a Master's in Urban Education, Administration and Policy from Loyola Marymount University, and a Bachelor's degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from UC Santa Barbara.
