Heidi Miller

Heidi Miller has extensive experience in privacy management and organizational compliance. Currently serving as the Privacy Officer at Synergy Credit Union since November 2019, Heidi advises the executive team and Board on privacy matters across the organization. Previously, as Privacy Officer at Interior Savings Credit Union from March 1989 to November 2019, Heidi managed compliance with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and provided guidance on privacy issues. Additionally, Heidi held the position of Manager, Procedures, developing and implementing processes to ensure regulatory adherence. Experience includes serving as a Credit Union Management Coach with the Canadian Co-operative Association and as Board Chairperson for the Glenmore Recreation After School Program. Heidi is a Chartered Access and Privacy Professional and has pursued education at the University of Alberta, Thompson Rivers University, and participates in ongoing training with the Privacy and Access Council of Canada.
