Jay Oberai

Jay Oberai has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Jay began their career at Citigroup Private Bank in 1990 as an Executive Trainee and subsequently held various positions within the bank, including Head of Investment Advisory for Europe, Middle East, and Africa. In 1999, they joined Coutts as the Global Head of Portfolio Advisory before moving on to establish their own ventures. In 2002, they founded Synergy Asset Management and served as the Founder & CEO. In 2006, they became the Chairman of MPC Synergy Real Estate, a position they held until 2020. In 2013, they founded Edifice and in 2019, they founded Synergy Quantum.

Jay Oberai has a comprehensive education history that spans multiple institutions and fields of study. From 1974 to 1986, they attended the International School of Geneva, where they obtained an IB degree in Economics and English. Following this, from 1986 to 1990, they pursued higher education at the University of Cambridge, earning both a BA and MA Honours degree in Economics and Industry. Lastly, they continued their educational journey at Harvard University from 2011 to 2012, where they completed a course degree in Real Estate Development.
