Tony Keane

Tony Keane has extensive experience in the security and emergency planning sectors, spanning over four decades. Currently serving as Chairman and Technical Director at Synergy Security Solutions since 2010, Tony also held the Chairman position at Rapier Security Ltd until 2010. Notably, Tony completed a significant assignment as Special Advisor on Security and Emergency Planning for Phase 1 of Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai from 2007 to 2010. Prior roles include managing security and airside safety for Aer Rianta at Dublin, Shannon, and Cork airports for 20 years, and participation in various aviation security committees such as NCASC and ECAC. Tony holds a B.E. in Civil Engineering and Fire Safety Engineering from University College Dublin. Since retirement in 2014, Tony has embraced the role of a full-time grandfather.
