John Opgenorth

John Opgenorth has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. John is currently working at Synergy Technical as an Account Executive, where they help deliver comprehensive solutions using Microsoft technology. Prior to that, they worked at SoftwareONE as an Inside Sales Executive, specializing in Software Portfolio Management services. John also has experience as a Regional Sales Representative at America's Pub Quiz and as a Leadership Training Program Director at YMCA Camp Minikani. In addition, John worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota, where they contributed to the NoVA Neutrino Project, and as a Counselor at YMCA Camp Minikani. John began their career as a Supervisor at Ninth Dimension, Inc.

John Opgenorth completed their Bachelor's Degrees in Geography and Asian Languages and Literatures at the University of Minnesota, from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Certified Professional: Azure Fundamentals in February 2020, Microsoft Certified Professional: Designing and Providing Microsoft Licensing Solutions to Large Organizations in December 2018, Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate in October 2022, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert in July 2021, and Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate in May 2021. John also holds certifications in Lifeguarding and Wilderness First Aid from YMCA of the USA and SOLO (Stonehearth Open Learning Opportunities), respectively.
