Matt Morton

Matt Morton has over 15 years of experience in the IT field. Matt currently serves as the Manager of the Technical Team at Synergy Technical, LLC since 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Systems Administrator at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU from 2009 to 2015, where they were responsible for server operations, IT solutions deployment, and enterprise-wide management. Before that, Matt worked at Public Consulting Group as a Systems Administrator from 2006 to 2009, where they handled systems administration, DevOps tasks, and served as a liaison between software developers and management. Matt also worked at Blower-Dempsay Corporation as an IT Manager from 2004 to 2006, focusing on ITIL-based service controls and help desk management. Matt started their career at Virginia Commonwealth University as a Support Technician in the Information Systems Department from 2001 to 2004, providing help desk support, server maintenance, and researching new technology solutions.

Matt Morton received a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University - School of Business between the years 2000 and 2004. Matt continued their education by earning an Executive Masters in Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University in the period 2015-2016.
