Luke Jennings is a skilled automation engineer with extensive experience in designing and implementing automation systems across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Automation Engineer at Synertec since March 2021, Luke is responsible for applying software development practices to a SCADA system for the Melbourne Metro Tunnels, utilizing object-oriented programming and version control through GitHub. Prior experience includes working as a Control Engineer at Kockums Bulk Systems, where Luke designed and commissioned bulk handling systems, and as an Automation Engineer at ACMA Industries, focusing on root cause analysis of system breakdowns. Luke holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from The University of Auckland and has a diverse background that includes roles in electronic assembly, labor, model fabrication, and sales.
