Matt Balmer

Matt Balmer is a highly experienced mechanical engineer with a robust background in project engineering and mechanical design. Currently serving as Lead Mechanical Engineer at Synertec since August 2013, Matt specializes in process design and technical specifications for bulk liquid storage terminals and process facilities. Prior experience includes roles as Lead Project Engineer for EPC Energy projects at RCR Tomlinson, where significant contributions were made to waste-to-energy and boiler projects. Early career positions include mechanical design at Easteel Industries, where Matt focused on various boiler systems, and project engineering at Easteel Australia, specializing in woodwaste fired thermal oil plants. Matt holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Melbourne and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from St Leonards College.
