Tom Honey is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the Water and Sewerage industries. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at Synertec since July 2022, Tom previously held the position of PLC Engineer at Wood Group PSN from November 2012 to July 2022, where responsibilities included creating and maintaining PLC and HMI programs. Prior experience includes roles as a PLC Engineer at Transfield Services and as a Systems Integrator at Axion Control Systems, focusing on similar programming tasks across various industries including Food and Distribution. Earlier in career, Tom served as a Project Leader/Software Administrator at Kenworth Australia, managing IT project design and database maintenance. Tom holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Robotics/Mechatronics and Computer Science/Software Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology.
