Signal Processing Engineer at Synex Medical

Sherif Seha has an extensive work experience in the field of signal processing and biomedical signal analysis. Sherif is currently employed as a Signal Processing Engineer at Synex Medical since 2022, where they focus on developing signal processing techniques to enhance the quality of NMR spectrum and deep learning techniques for automatic denoising of NMR spectrum.

Prior to their current role, Sherif worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto from August 2021 to May 2022. Sherif also worked at Assiut University as a Teaching Assistant and Assistant Lecturer from October 2011 to August 2016. During their time at Assiut University, they assisted in teaching various courses related to signal and systems, electronics, and programming. Sherif also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant during this time and developed frameworks for human identity recognition using biomedical signals and proposed feature extraction techniques based on wavelet packet decomposition for signal analysis.

From 2006 to 2011, Sherif attended Assiut University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering.

From 2011 to 2015, they pursued their Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at Assiut University.

Starting from 2016 until 2021, Sherif studied at the University of Toronto, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Sherif has obtained additional certifications. In July 2022, they acquired the Confluence Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian. Sherif also achieved the Jira Fundamentals Badge from the same institution in the same month and year.
