Parveen Sobia

Parveen Sobia is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in bioanalytical marker optimization, development, and validation at Synexa Life Sciences since September 2022. In addition to this role, Parveen serves as an honorary lecturer at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and has held positions as a postdoctoral scientist at CAPRISA and a medical student facilitator at the Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine. Parveen's research background includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a research fellowship at ICGEB. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Medical Microbiology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Jiwaji University, and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Delhi University. Parveen is trained in GCP/GCLP and follows FDA/EMA guidelines for validation, with a specialization in novel immunological assays, particularly ELISA, MSD, and cell-based assays.
