Mike Hurley's work experience starts with their role as a System Engineer at L3 Technologies in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, which they completed from 1986 to 1992. In addition to their degrees, Mike also holds certifications as a LEED AP in Building Design & Construction from the US Green Building Council, which they obtained in December 2012, and as a Professional Engineer from the Commonwealth of Virginia, which they achieved in February 2000.
