Prem Tilak Iyer

Prem Tilak Iyer has over 35 years of work experience in various roles within the technology and financial services sectors. Prem Tilak is currently serving as the Head of Platform- APIX at Synfindo. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at ASEAN Financial Innovation Network (AFIN) from 2020 to 2022. During their time at AFIN, they contributed to the development and promotion of APIX, the world's first cross-border, open-architected platform for financial innovation.

Before joining AFIN, Prem Tilak Iyer held multiple positions at Citi. From 2017 to 2019, they served as the Director of Data Governance Consumer Bank - APAC & EMEA / Control and Risk Director- Data Analytics, where they improved data quality and accuracy, enhanced customer segmentation, and ensured data integrity. Prem Tilak also served as the Director of APAC Regional Information Strategy and Management Group Head from 2015 to 2017, where they drove the usage of analytics tools and initiated the use of big data for future mining. Additionally, they served as the Director of Digital Transformation, Business Process Reengineering, and Agile from 2009 to 2015, where they led the transition from waterfall to agile methodology and implemented customer journey-based user stories for seamless servicing.

Prem Tilak Iyer's previous work experience includes senior roles at Citibank, Polaris Consulting & Services Ltd, Orbitech Solutions Limited, Deutsche Bank, and Britannia Industries Limited.
