Varun Ahuja

Varun Ahuja, DVM, PhD, DABT, ERT, is an accomplished professional in the field of toxicology and safety assessment with extensive experience in various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as Head of Toxicology and Safety Assessment at Syngene International Limited, Varun has previously held roles as Lead Toxicologist in the same company and worked at Lupin as Senior Scientist and Scientist in Drug Safety Assessment. Varun's early career includes positions as Study Director at BSL Bioservice in Munich, Postdoctoral Researcher at Charité Berlin, and Research Fellow at Pantnagar University in India and Freie Universität in Germany. Varun earned a PhD in Immunotoxicology from Freie Universität Berlin and holds a degree from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology.
